Reasons to get out of bed

She just won't go to sleep at the moment. We're all knackered.

    We've had a similar phase - 'I can't sleep, there's a seed in my eye'. She means a bit of grit or a speck of dust but for some reason it's always 'a seed' :-D. Very familiar with 'The Annoyed' too.
